Ex-Manchester City player involved in violent late night street brawl

An old Manchester City, Brentford and the Aberdeen player was involved in a late-night brawl outside a chip shop in Aberdeen.

The player in question is defender Shay Logan, who made 294 appearances for Aberdeen between 2014 and 2021 and still resides in the city while playing for Scottish Championship side Cove Rangers.

Pictures of 34-Age Logan appeared online, showing the defender trading blows in a heated fight with another man.

The video shows Logan delivering a series of punches to the man who ended up on his knees in defense.

A small group of witnesses gathered as the scrapping continued down the middle of the road, a man eventually jumped out and separated the couple before things got out of hand.

In the footage, Logan’s name was mentioned a few times as people watched in shock. The video below contains foul language.

It’s still unclear what sparked the fight or what happened as a result of the scrap, but the former Townsman took to social media and posted a video to his Instagram, deliberately showing both sides of his face, with a caption that read: ‘Chat s**t get banged’, a famous quote from Leicester City star striker Jamie Vardy.

Logan has been a magnet for controversy since moving to Scotland.

In 2020 Logan, who is also a part-time plumber, was playing for Aberdeen at the time and was investigated by the club after he insulted another plumber.

One of the messages Logan sent read, “I’ve lived a life you can only dream of due to my career, PS you ac**t.”

The recipient of Logan’s abuse sent snaps of the explicit messages to his club, asking the club: “Aberdeen CFis it acceptable from a senior player or one of your club staff on how to talk to AFC fans? »

It is not known if Logan was punished by Aberdeen.

Logan made headlines in 2019 when he dressed up as Celtic legend Scott Brown for his bachelor party in Tenerife.

He and Brown got their fair share of scraps when they clashed in the Scottish Premiership, but Logan sparked more controversy by posting the photo on his Instagram.

He said: “Stag do or not I’m still af****** DON”

Logan was never successful at City, having made just one appearance for the club before being transferred Brentford in 2011.
